Achieving My Dream

My university diploma was a goal that I had been working toward achieving for a long time. As an older student, I took the less traditional path of achieving my education. I started out at a much older age than my other classmates. I was a mother of three and knew that I had to get my degree in order to be really successful in life. After six years of part-time classes, I was finally getting my degree.
I wanted a graduation picture frame that was befitting of my achievement. I looked at several different styles at the local frame shop and found one that I really liked. It had the university logo and a place for my hard-fought-for diploma. It was exactly what I wanted and it was how I wanted to show the world my degree. Putting the diploma into my frame and hanging it up in my office would be a huge accomplishment for me. Though it took me longer than most to get to this point in my life, I have finally made it. It is something that I will gain respect from for the rest of my life.
