Events at Educational Institutions

I attend a lot of events. I like a really wide range of different things. You might find me at a gala fundraiser one night and at a burlesque dance party the next. However, the most common type of event that you’ll find me at is the event which is held at an educational institution. That’s because these events offer me the most in return for my attendance.
Schools of all kinds offer events that you can attend as someone from the general public. Major universities hold events on their campuses all of the time. Even smaller schools and organizations that teach classes offer events, though. Your local SBA, the trade school where you took your Cisco Training Course and independently-owned hobby schools all offer events.
These events may be free or they may cost money. They may be public lectures, book signing events, hands-on workshops, educational classes, student shows or any number of other types of events. Whatever they are, they tend to be great events to attend. You learn new things (which is always good). You meet a lot of people. And you’re in an environment that is stimulating and different from your normal world. All of these are things that I appreciate in a good event. Don’t you?
