Golfing Spending Down

Although the Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal reported that golf spending is down in 2009, many golf schools are reporting record enrollment. This could be due to the attractiveness of a career in golf, coupled with people’s desire to return to education after not finding work. Keiser University is a provider of golf education (see their video below) and are poised to expand their golf facilities this year due to an increase in enrollment after the launch of the golf school.
