I’m so stoked that the extra income will allow me to be off to the shop to get those tattoos. I’ve spent a lot of time looking at the old tattoo flash that the local parlor had up. I saw a bunch of star tattoos that looked pretty cool. Especially the Aztec suns they had on display. Of course with my enthusiasm the last week and a half, my girlfriend has started to think about getting more butterfly tattoos. I think this time she wants to put two on each of her ankles. I think the ones on her back came out pretty good, so I’m not too concerned.

I’ll be out of town next weekend so I hope I’ll be able to maintain the patches on the road. I’ve got a gig up in Sacramento playing at one of the small punk rock nightclubs. It’ll be the first gig in little over a month, but we’ll score well over a thousand dollars for the one night we are playing. Hopefully we’ll be able to debut a couple of the songs we’ve been working pretty hard on without having to play too many covers, and hopefully we’ll get free drinks.
