Guiding the Way to Mortgage Leads

In the choice between Paris Hilton and Oprah, which celebrity would you buy education leads from? Celebrity endorsements have been used from everything from toothpaste commercials to endorsing presidential candidates. The influence they are said to have over public opinion is enough to make many advertisers and public relations professionals sit up and notice. The selling power of celebrities such as Angelina Jolie has been found to have an influence over the general public to take an interest in everything from the clothes we wear to mortgage leads. And advertisers are more than willing to pay dearly for the privilege of using a celebrity’s image with their product.
At the same time, advertisers stay away from, and have even been known to drop, those who suddenly find themselves under fire. Britney Spears, Kate Moss and the Dixie Chicks have all found themselves dropped from endorsements even after contracts were signed and campaigns half finished. Celebrities that have negative standings in the press often inspire negative opinions in the public eye. At other times, a celebrity’s faux pas is whimsically used to an advantage. The idea of accident prone personalities to promote something like an insurance lead or a type of aspirin is considered a creative type of marketing.
