How to Increase Height when Jumping

Athletes are always seeking ways to stretch themselves to the limit. Runners always want to run a little bit faster. Bodybuilders always want to lift weights that are a little bit heavier. For basketball players, one of the biggest goals is to always increase height when jumping. After all, a higher jump makes it easier to slam dunk that ball.

Common methods of gaining that desired height increase for better basketball skills include:

  • Practice, practice, practice. You can actually learn to jump higher just by doing it all of the time because you’ll build up those muscles in your legs.
  • Grow taller. A taller body can reach higher so you can dunk better even if you don’t get off of the ground more. Ask your doctor what vitamins make you grow taller.
  • Study the masters. Watch videos of all of the great basketball players and try to copy their style. Michael Jordan could practically fly; try to decipher how he did it so that you can do it, too!

In the end, being a great athlete boils down to a few things. You need to be driven to succeed. You need to be willing to work out. And you need to have a body that is healthy enough to push to the limits. Can you meet that challenge?
