Understanding local search engine optimization isn’t as difficult as it might sound. You just need to break it down and look at what a web design company focuses on when doing local SEO.
Let’s examine what a web design company would focus on if it was trying to do local SEO for a Tampa business. Some areas of focus might be:
- Emphasis on Tampa. Tampa SEO is going to be designed to attract the attention of Tampa-based customers. The site might be optimized with articles related to anything in Tampa. It would provide keyword-rich information that would be of interest to someone living in or visiting Tampa.
- Secondary emphasis on region. This is a smaller emphasis on the region surrounding the business. In some cases, this region is larger. For example, a Tampa business site might focus on all of Florida. In other cases, the region may be smaller. A neighborhood in Tampa would be an example of this.
