Research The Warranty

Buying a hot tub shouldn’t be a stressful experience. After all, the whole point of having an outdoor spa is to help you relax, right? So why let the process of purchasing a relaxation aid mar the experience? As long as the purchaser does his research, there’s no need to worry or stress. Most people take the time to research hot tub prices and hot tub dealers, but not as many consumers take the time to research the manufacturers warranty so that they know what issues will be covered down the road. The average hot tub spa warranty usually covers the following items: the shell, the exterior shell, the plumbing and the equipment. The length of time and the circumstances regarding coverage of each of those items will vary with each manufacturer. Some warranties will exclude certain parts. Others may apply a deductible after a certain length of time. Since every warranty will be different it is very important that the consumer ask questions regarding exactly what they she can expect with regard to coverage. One way to gather information would be to ask the dealer about their relationship with the manufacturer. If they are having a good experience with the company then odds are that the consumer will experience a high level of service as well. A quick check with the Better Business Bureau for complaints will let the consumer know if he is dealing with reputable spa manufacturer.
