Lately I’ve had a strong yearning to go to France. I doubt that I’ll get to go on a vacation to Paris this summer but I can at least get a few things from France that might give me a bit of that French feeling in my own home.

Some of the things that are on my “From France Wish List” include:

• Ceramics and Kitchenware. There are some great French manufacturers for beautiful dishes including Bernardaud and Jars Ceramics. My kitchen would feel more French if I ate from these plates.
• Chocolate. This is the thing I’d really love to eat in my kitchen! French chocolates, particularly French truffles, are my favorite indulgence.
• Lingerie. The French just know how to do lingerie right. Even if I’m the only one who sees it, I think I’d feel gorgeous if I had a piece of French lingerie to wear. Paris is all about making you feel gorgeous!
• 2009 Renault. I don’t have any good reason to buy a new car but if I was really going to go all out with purchases from France then I’d get a cool little French car to drive around country roads on!

I guess if I just save my money then I could go to Paris next year but it’s tempting to buy a few of these things!
