I just created yet another spring cleaning pile of stuff to get rid of. How the heck did I acquire so much stuff? I don’t even know where some of this stuff came from. Just a glance through the pile reveals a couple of tactical headsets, a few shoulder microphones, a Motorola earpiece … I swear I’ve never seen these things before in my life and yet they’re in my closet taking up storage room that I could be using for something else.

Part of the problem is that I don’t live alone. I live in a house that I share with roommates. As roommates move in and out, they bring stuff with them and they leave stuff behind. Much of this stuff probably came from them. I wish they’d taken it with them when they left!

This is why I do spring cleaning every year. I can’t stand the accumulation of stuff. If it hasn’t been used since the last round of spring cleaning then in my opinion it needs to be donated, recycled or thrown away. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with all of this junk but I do know for sure that it’s not staying here!
