My Baby’s First Halloween

My husband thought I was completely crazy when I suggested that we dress our six month old son up for Halloween. He thought that she was too young to care and that it was altogether too much work. He told me that I should wait until he was older, as I was going to have many years of dressing him up. I disagreed and started looking for baby costumes right away.
He reluctantly went with me to go and look and I felt a little bit of satisfaction when I showed him the big selection that they had for babies, knowing full well that I was not the only one who felt my baby needed to dress up. We tried a Superman costume on him and it was cute, but I did not want to buy the first thing I tried.
In the end we went with a very cute Darth Vader costume and it was so cute that it even brought a smile to my husband’s face. We did not go as far as to take him out begging for candy, but we got some great pictures of him and he spent his first Halloween showing off his costume at Grandma’s house.
