Too Many Opinions on Wedding Announcements

One of the things that you’re going to find out when you start to plan a wedding is that the people in your life will quickly fall into two categories. First there will be those people who would prefer to have nothing to do with the wedding and who you really can’t count on to help you out during the planning process although they’ll show up to eat the cake. And second are the people who want to help in any way that they can.

You would think that this second group of people would be the ones that you would appreciate when you are doing wedding planning. In many ways, you would be wrong. The problem is that people in this category tend to have a whole lot of opinions and they can confuse you a lot as you try to make decisions about different aspects of the wedding.

For example, when it comes time to choose the wedding announcements, you may find that your mother and your best friend have very different opinions. One wants trendy beach wedding invitations and the other wants elegant frangipani wedding invitations. They will each go to strange lengths to get you to choose the one they like best. You have to remember when doing this planning that the final decision for everything should be based only on what you want for your own wedding!
