I am one of those really smart girls that manages to come off as fairly cool now but who was totally nerdy as a kid. And I’m also one of those cool girls who can’t completely hide her nerdiness.

• I label CDs with a CD labeler. That I own a CD / DVD labeler is enough of a nerdy thing on its own. The fact that I use DVD labeling to organize the nerdy software files I’ve saved is what really lets people know that I’m a nerd.
• I have attended more than one Web 2.0 expo this year. And on top of that, I keep the nametags from the events and have them hanging on display in my home.
• I scrapbook everything. That could just be considered crafty if it weren’t for the fact that I use techie tools to add special effects to the photo pages I’m printing or that I print them on a special printer designed just for this purpose.
• I have a blog about wireless news. And I don’t get paid to have it, I just like to write about the topic because I think the research is fun.
