I have one of those smart phones, and I have to tell you that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I think back to the days of when I used to carry around a big day planner, a bulky cell phone, a pager, a calculator and even more junk that is now all part of my tiny little cell phone. I mean seriously, I can’t imagine not having my email lists at my fingertips at any given moment. Really, aren’t email addresses like lifelines anymore? Without my email mailing list I would be lost!

And how about the thought of not having a web browser on you at all times? It seems crazy that at one time sports scores were not instantly available right on your cell phone! And don’t even get me started with how reliant I have become on the GPS feature!

So just when I thought things couldn’t get any better (or cooler) with these gadgets, Verizon has to come out with the coolest smart phone ever. I am of course talking about the Blackberry Storm. Suddenly my Palm Treo seems as antiquated as the old brick phone I had in the 1980s. And because my contract is currently up, they practically want to give me this new phone if I renew for two more years. Guess I’ll be renewing!
