Santa Monica Beaches, Shopping and Theatre
By Sojourner in Travel | 1 comment
There are quiet a few cities in southern California that continually attract people to their, well among other things, their beautiful beach areas. And Santa Monica is one of those whose incredible beaches contributes to the amazing paradise like atmosphere of the city. And while the beaches don’t seem to dominate or actually determine the overall city climate and atmosphere, they certainly permeate almost every aspect of the culture and lifestyle. However, that does not imply people show up to the office for work every morning with their hair full of sand wearing worn out flip flops. Instead it is more indicative of the relaxed, beautiful nature of the city, which seems to contain an element of the serene nature of the vast ocean. And yes, the ocean can erupt in violent activity, though it is primarily known for its quiet power and depth.
That’s enough of the Santa Monica beach metaphors. Now that we have the connection established, let’s look at some of the other cultural aspects that continue to draw guests to the Santa Monica luxury hotel . Santa Monica has great shopping opportunities which is always a favorite among its tourists. There are some great independent boutiques that create unique items. And these always make great gifts and souvenirs. There are also numerous galleries in the city and art is one of the local interests and standard elements. There are numerous theatres and performance art centers in the city and these provide some of the top entertainment options. The Miles Memorial Playhouse is located in the downtown area and is one of the top companies in the city. MI’s Westside Comedy Theatre is a great place to go while you’re in town and enjoy some quality humor and an exciting evening.
